Probably selling my truck but the Wildpeaks I had were too worn to keep driving on especially in the limbo of keep or sell.

After researching a bit and calling around to find a Discount Tire location that had four 265/75/16s in stock, I also negotiated with the store manager to buy back my used Wildpeaks.

That took care of the disposal fee and brought the final price per tire to an amazing $74 dollars each (from $108).

So for 4 snow rated all terrains, made in the US, with tread/temp/traction ratings higher than a comparable Goodyear...$420 mounted and balanced out the door.

I've made three 400 mile trips on varying quality roads so far and have zero complaints.

If you're in the market for a bargain AT, I don't think there's a better option right now.

Colorado can't decide if it wants to be 100 degrees or 70 this week, but I'll update how they do either way.

Meso spare fuse holder. Aluminum gas cap holder. Genuine Toyota bed lights. Bed molle racks. Ammo case storage under hood. In-bed spare tire. Automatic underhood lights. Gooey glurp on frame.
I am interested to see how these hold up in really hot climates. By 'hot,' I mean 100 consecutive days of 110F plus, surrounded on both ends with 30 days of merely 100F days. :bananadead:

Mostly stock, just getting it to my liking, just happy to have had the taco and now my 4Runner.
These have a good track record as they are discount tires in house brand/tire. There are a few threads about them on here and on 4Runners.com, some folks have left the falken brand behind in favor of them with the up front savings and discount tire ticket warranty. Not affiliated just wish they offered them in 20 inch for my 4Runner limited rims.

Look at all the siping on those bad boys. Those look and sound like pretty decent tires. Very similar in appearance to the Yokohama all terrains I just got.

I put a set of those on my wife’s 4 runner 265/70/17 they made it about two weeks and I pulled them off. IMO the sidewalls are a bit soft and I didn’t like the narrow tread width so put on a set of the Pathfinder At.
