hey guys, dont recall reading of anyone having this problem but today when i got home from work i noticed oil stains on my driveway right under my differential.
Got underneath the truck and definitely leaking. Will be taking to toyota asap but was wondering if anyone has had this problem?
    Truck only has 15,000 miles

Not normal. Take it in, its covered.

If you've just noticed the leak, there is plenty of fluid left in the diff and catching it early like you did will have prevented premature wear.

I had this same issue at 360 miles. Pinion seal gasket was crushed. Easy enough to replace but have to make sure they do it right. I worked a free platinum warranty once I realized the cheap fix they proposed. Technically you should disassemble the entire diff to replace the seal, to properly set pre-load on pinion bearing.

Mine wasn't leaking but howling, had the diff replaced, as another member mentioned, I would consider pushing for some type of extra warranty/care.

Hopefully just a bad seal and not a bearing problem that took out the seal. None the less ,easy to diagnose
    and definitely warranty.

I know a guy who had this same issue on his second generation sport when he bought it..

He took it in.. but not before buying a complete kit for a arb air locker... the dealership was nice enough to install it for free when they rebuilt the bearings and seals, since they had it apart anyhow...
