I bought a new 2023 Tacoma AC6M here locally after waiting 8 months. I got the info on toyo ext warranty and ceramic paint protection/ etc...but said not at this time.

No free oil changes were mentioned to me for this new vehicle purchase.
I bought a 2018 "used" last year and got 2 free oil changes, I traded it in for the "New" 2023

Only had the truck for 2 months and I get from the Dealer an email saying my first check up is soon. I asked about the 2 free oil changes no reply..:(

It should say ToyotaCare somewhere on the window sticker or paperwork if it is still a thing. In the end, you are not missing out on a lot, esp if you typically do your own maint work.

It should be standard on all new tacomas to have the first 25,000 miles worth of service covered (including two actual oil changes.)

At least I thought it was standard.

I think I got free service on my '19 for the first 36k miles. As a bonus, the dealer also had taco ladies on Fridays making beyond-spectacular street tacos.

Every new Toyota has 2/25 maintenance, which includes two oil changes.

I got the same when I bought my 2018 to St. Augustine.

My mom bought a used 2019 Rav4 from Daytona Toyota and got lifetime free oil changes.

All new Toyotas get free services every 5000 miles or six months. It expires in 24 months or 25,000 miles which ever comes first. Your five, 15, and 25,000 mile services are tire rotations. Your 10,000 and 20,000 mile services are oil changes with tire rotations. Certain Toyota Tacoma’s will get a free cabin filter at 20,000 miles as well. These first five services are standard and free for all new Toyotas purchased from dealerships.

BMW does it with Ultimate Service as well. “But it’s free!” Except you’re paying $46,000 for a German car with pleather interior and less options than my parents Kia.

Volvo was where it was at. I believe about 10 years ago they included everything for 5/60 miles. Comprehensive warranty, maintenance including wear items such as brakes. Obviously they got rid of that real fast.

I got one free and did the second myself. The dealership logged my maintenance @ 5k, 10k, and when I was @15k, they logged it as 20k saying it was my last free maintenace. Which lead to a big argument that went nowhere, so fuck them! :argue: The dealership still calls saying it's time for me to bring it in because it's been over a year. Once again, fuck them! :crapstorm:

I wonder if Toyota will give you an oil change at 5k if you tell them you’ve been towing heavily and want the extreme duty cycle service.

Not that I’m advocating a fight over it, just curious what they would say then. Probably “Yeah, this one’s on you. We’ll get the next one”.

It did but I'm not letting them touch my truck. I am however doing my own services every 5k with Toyota oil and TRD Pro filters.

When I bought my tacoma in 2020, I got 2 free oil changes plus tire rotations, and whatever else bs they inspected all under their Toyota care program. At over $120 now, I did the last oil change myself.

ToyotaCareService gives 2 oil changes included in the 2yr Maintenance Plan: 10K & 20K

    There are 5 scheduled visits: 5K, 10K, 15K, 20K and 25K.

My last service at the 2 year mark of ownership is this May.

I paid the dealership to do the 5K oil change (the young tech over-torqued 4 bolts on the thin metal skid plate & bolts on driver side of Air Dam)

Did my first oil change at 15K since the 10K was done at the dealership.

I'm going with 5K interval for oil changes. It's what I've always done with every vehicle I've ever owned.
