Luckily it's on my roof but I'm ocd and anal as hell, sorry for the crappy pic but there's a streak that looks like it's burned into the clear, I took a clay bar and waxed it but no dice. Any advice? Looks noticeable at certain angles. Not even sure how the hell it happened

Lol sorry I couldn't pick it up with my phone. It's a pretty damn noticeable streak mark about 2 inches long that looks like it's burned into the paint. I was going to try to polish it out but didn't want to do more damage

About the only thing you can do is get the buffer out and see if it comes out that way.

Life is too short to worry about a little paint defect on the roof. Wait until your frame starts rusting.

What year is your truck? Toyota does have a warranty on their paint. Might be a blemish in the clear that maybe you can get done under warranty if the truck is fairly new. At least before you try different things on it.

It's a 2023, I've had a lot of toyotas and 99 percent of the time they tell you to kick rocks and least from my experience. Not the end of the world obviously but if I detailer had a suggestion it would be something I'd be willing to try

Better pics would help. Try using some polish, I seriously don't think its a burn in the paint from the looks of the pic. Are you referring to a buffer burn? Do you feel any difference in the finish when rubbing your finger tips across the finish?

If polish doesn’t work, You could try the heat gun method. Look it up on YouTube. People use a heat gun to remove the etching left behind from bird shit.

Have you tried getting a prinsu roof rack and a light bar to cover it up?

Lol, now you know it's there it will haunt you.
Get a polisher and see if you can correct it.
If it comes out great! If not go find some trails and get some stripes to worry about more..

I wasnt talking to you, but if it bothers you, fix it. This aint rocket surgery, just un-ass the money and get it fixed..

I'm guessing you wont be using it for what it was designed for? Get a few desert pin stripes on it and you wont even think about it.
