It appears the only file type available is .skp. Is there a way to convert these over to .dwg, so I can use these files on AutoCAD?

I honestly don’t know. I would imagine so, but not sure how.

by the way, I was just trying to find the GEN 3 dimensions of the bed and what the differences are between a 2020 vs a 2021 short bed, if any at all. So, this is what I have researched. I had a 2020 SR5 DC SB 4x4 and I looked it up and compared with a TRD OR and found that year there were side-bed compartments on the left and on the right with the TRD OF and the Sport having on one side the 120 volt / 400 W power outlet, which my SR5 didn't have. Now I have a 2021 (long story) TRD Sport DCSB and that one has exactly the same dimensions in the bed but it has only 1 side-bed compartment (as small one and the power outlet next to it). I will show pics here. And the measurements - pic is not mine, but taken from a prior poster on this thread and double checked all my dimensions.

There may be measurement diff's varying at around 1/4" to 1/2" increments, and that is probably just inaccuracies in measuring it, probably on my end (the bed length "B" is one of those examples because the bed is really 1/2" shorter than the Bed-Liner installed over it). I think it is the same, no diff between the G3's in my opinion. Anyone care to comment? The reason I am looking at these dimensions is because there is a company that makes these fold-out lockable tool boxes for the left/right of the truck bed and I wanted to buy a set, but they said it will fit the 2020 model but not the 2021 model. And that is just not possible... What are the differences why that would not fit?

    Thanks so much
    TacoFranz

First off, thank you to everyone that provided dimensions and cad drawings.

I'm working on a lift mechanism to rise about 54 inches and support 800 lbs. The plan is to use four 3/4" acme threaded rods at each corner inside schedule 40 steel pipe with chain and sprockets to lift four corners at once -- eventually with a 12V motor. I'm an EE, not an ME, so anyone that can help with advice will be appreciated. I haven't used autocad in a while, but I'll get my system up and get this going soon.

Does anybody have this dimension? From the top of the wheel well to the top of the bed rail track?

I tried that already. The tape measure came from Qatar with the truck…but I can’t read Arabic.

Seriously though, if you get a chance, the dimension on the Taco would really help me out. I’m trying to retrofit a Pelican case mount in the Land Cruiser bed.

    (Updating my vehicle sig too).

    Thx.

Don't have my truck yet, but starting to plan/build out my bed rack. Can someone pull a couple of dimensions for me, please?

What is the outside to outside dimensions of the top cap on the bed rails 6" in from the front, over the wheel wells, and about 6" in from the tailgate? I think they will be close, but I think there is a slight taper towards the back, no?

    Thanks to whoever can assist.

Hey does anyone run a crossbed tool box on their 3rd gen? I have been looking for a small box to carry some emergency equipment that has been occupying my back seat, but so far the options are small in between wheel wells, or too wide to fit in between bed rails. I know there has to be something out there without me dragging the brake out and making a custom one. Any ideas or suggestions are golden. Looking to stay with matte black but a rattle can will fix it if not black.

Yes, but you have to use the SketchUp desktop app and then save file as vector, or DWG. The program can read and save in both file formats.

I picked up one from Tractor Supply when I first got my truck. I think it was generic for a mid-sized pickup. I think there's some pictures earlier on in my build thread. It's been sitting at my house for the past couple years though. If you were closer I'd let you have it for $100.

I know this is old, but thank you for this file. Instantly helping with the build out design.
