Delivery Date for 2024 with Hybrid?

So many things completely in the DARK regarding 2024 Tacoma specs. Heck where's my flashlight. But along with lack of vehicle specs, when is Toyota exactly claiming a 2024 Tacoma will be able to bought/delivered (with i-Force MAX 2.4-liter turbocharged hybrid power plant)?

Are we talking April/May 2024? Summer 2024? Fall 2024? Its one thing to wait X amount of days for a new car roll-out. It's quite another thing if we're talking 12 to 15 months from now, to see actual hands on ownership.

Hope someone out there has a solid clue when Toyota can finally deliver the goods and a semi-solid date when that happens.

 

I think they said the first Quarter of 2024 is when they come out.

 

As shaker mentioned 1Q 2024 is what they have said and late 4Q 2023 for the non hybrid. More details will come out once it gets closer to production time.

 

Gotta cool your jets a while (year) if you want a hybrid. And b/c hybrid is exclusive to Pro, Hunter, and possibly Limited you won’t be able to have any of those trims until the aforementioned spring of ‘24. And…take into account that even by that time Toyota will be behind the eight ball on fulfilling all of the hybrid preorders.

If you absolutely can’t wait until next summer, then prepare to outbid the other first adopters at the dealers this winter and drive home a lower trim w the 278hp turbo 4cylinder for Christmas.

 

That's a good point, the first to arrive hybrids will be the Pro and Trailhunter. Probably won't be until later in 2024 before the Limited, Off Road, and Sport Hybrids come out.

 

Your best course of action is definitely to just wait. Let everyone else beta test the new truck. I plan on looking into it this time next year.

Saw at one dealer they are still building and shipping 2023 into mid October so only time will tell when the non hybrid models will start shipping.

 

Production for non hybrids begin Dec 2023. Hybrid production April 2024.
