    Or deja blue?

I went in to a dealership two hours away last week because they were blowing away '18 Tundras. Planned to buy an '18 crew max limited in inferno with an asking price of 43k.

As soon as I pulled into the dealership this certain Tacoma kept catching my eye. But I had convinced myself I didn't want another Taco. I loved my 07 in speedway blue desrly and she was so damn reliable with 170k miles. But damnit I wanted something different!

After test driving the Tundra I wasn't sold. I really liked the interior, but I live in a city and couldn't imagine having to park this thing on small one way streets all the time. My current 07 Taco dclb was bad enough. The tundra wasn't much larger but it felt much larger.

So I then took this for a test drive after the dealer insisted (he saw where I kept looking).

I ended up taking her home. I also included a before and after pic. The salesmen got a real kick out of seeing this after I asked to have them side by side for my farewell to a loyal friend.

That is a beautifully lifted taco. Enjoy the new 3rd gen! Your 2nd gen looks in great shape being that it has 170,000 miles!

How much did you get for the new taco if you don't mind sharing?

That’s the same dealer I traded my ‘07 Tacoma for an ‘18. I drove 2 hours as well. Koons was 4k less then everyone in my area, and had a quicksand DCSB in stock. Buying experience was great too.
