Has anyone come up with a decent way to still use your power outlet with a decked system installed?

easiest is using an extension cable. I removed mine and moved it. Others will move it but cut a hole and leave the outlet in the ammo can.

I used a little 3" extension from home depot and plugged the end with a cap. The problem I ran into was the "door" for the power outlet, it won't allow an extension to be installed and the decked to be aligned at the same time, needed the decked to move over like 1" out of perfect alignment which I didn't like. So I just ripped the door off lol

I understand. I’m thinking about making a bracket that holds the assembly on the aft end of the decked system. That or mounting it to the ammo can. We shall see

I saw what you did on YouTube. I think I want to move it like you did and make a bracket to hold it secure

All I did was undo wire bundle strap. I placed spacers behind door bracket. The back of the connector is exposed to the elements anyway so not concerned with the opening behind the assembly.Taco Power.jpg

Took the door off the factory outlet and built a short cord using a angle plug and a waterproof end.

Had my 2021 OR for a few weeks and got the Decked installed. Pulled the 110v, took a jigsaw to a small piece of HDPE from Amazon and used the existing screws to cover. Will either mount it similar to @The Koop or get some flat bar stock and attach it to the bed stiffeners.

Bent piece of aluminum cut bolted to the bed stiffener. Drawer clears and the 110v door opens.
