I noticed a few guys here and there mention about having dealers accidentally drill into the front bumpers and install their dealer tags. I was wondering what it takes to repair those holes, did the body shop have to fix them, did they have to fill them in, re-sand, and repaint? Anyone got before and after pics?

I'd like to know the answer to this too. I moved to a state where the front plate is not required (or provided). So now I have holes in my front bumper like the OP does.

Don't see any way around it other than a body shop.

I think TacoNumber6 needs to trade it in for TacoNumber7 because apparently 6 times was not the charm.

Then why start a whole thread about it, if your truck doesn't have the little holes drilled out?

    The question has been answered

Plugs , fill and paint , get a new bumper or hang a front plate

You could trade it for a jeep or you could take it back to the dealer and insist they repair the holes they drilled. If your state doesnt require a front plate there is not reason for them to expect you to be happy with holes they drilled in there. Or take the other advice already posted. Clearly the bumper will need a complete repaint and not just a Touch up seeing how picky you are ( which is fine since you bougt a new truck ).
