This could possibly be a stupid question, But I need to move a washer and dryer about 2 hours away. I dont know the make and model of the dryer and washer. Do you think they will fit both together in the back of the short bed?

Sorry, messed up the title. It has to be in ONE trip. Thanks again.

I cant measure them, Im doing it for a friend who is out of town. I have never seen them either

I think so.........my washer and dryer measured 56" combined (standard washer and dryer not front load) so if yours are the same you should have 4" to spare.

Should be able to. Depending on size you may have to leave tailgate open.

Bring some carpet (or blankets) and a few tie downs and you might be able to stack them somehow if they both don't fit

I have fit a standard washer and standard dryer in my short bed lined up, ergo, not stacked. Tailgate down IIRC. Just a couple good tie downs and it will be solid.

Just grab some tow straps and leave the tailgate down. I imagine most will fit with the tailgate up though.

Most washer/dryers are around 27" in width...I imagine they'd fit ok with the tailgate up.

    Yes.
I have fit a standard washer/dryer in my DCSB. Also had someone purchase a different set from me and they fit those, as well.

I say yes. I had both a washer and dryer in the back of the truck two months ago when we moved here to the new house. Good luck..

I was able to get my old washer, dryer and dishwasher in one load. You should be able to get just the washer and dryer in wish the tailgate up easily!
