Anyone have experience with the DBCustomz grills for the 3rd Gen. I've been debating between the TRD Pro, BAMF, and DB's but I'm not sure what I like best. I' think I've eliminated the BAMF at this point because it just looks too 'homemade' for my tastes and I wonder how it'll hold up.

I do really like the color match back plate and light inserts for the DB. Anyone with the DB care to comment on their experience?

I won a DBCustom grill at Fallout 4 and it came in Blue. I pulled the grill apart and just painted matte black. Very sturdy build but wouldn't have spent that kind of money on a grill.20161119_063318.jpg

Looks good. How has it held up? Any concerns of rust? I know grills are expensive, but they're all about the same price as the DB.

No rust so far and the grill has taken a few rock hits and no paint chips. Found it a little weird and sad that a $600 aftermarket grill is held on by double sided tape.

Edit: Held together by double sided tape. The grill screws in the front fascia. Didn't want to miss lead anyone by thinking its all held together by double sided tape lol.

These are all-pro apex rock sliders that have bump outs to keep from destroying my rear fender.

If I had the $$ I would have gone DB with the Baja light cutouts.

Like the grill, looks nice, just think I would rather it say TOYOTA though.

I think you can get the "TOYOTA" text as an option

Yes, that is the one I have "Toyota", with the baja lights. No issues.

I like the looks of the grill with the lights. Do the baja lights come with the grill? If not, where do you get them?

It's an option when ordering the grill.

hey hey! Every now and then I get 10 minutes to look at posts...Ok the first early version, 35LB/sq in automotive tape was used on the facia...We used machine screws now to secure the plate and now all Stainless Steel...was growing pains at first, but we've gotten good at them by lessons learned...:)

DB is the man. Stands behind all his products so in the unlikely event you have an issue, he's got no questions asked. I lost a few bolts that held the name plate on when I repainted it, and he sent me a new bag for nothing. Met him a few times at meets and he's a cool dude and the grille is great
