Dash covers

Anyone have an opinion on if the 2021 Tacoma should have a dash cover? Thoughts on them?

 

be sure to include a bobble head dog, tissue box, a sticker on the tailgate which local but generally obscure grade school your grandchildren go to, and some white wall tires.

 

What about smoking cigarettes with only the driver window cracked about 1"?

 

A sun shade is probably the best thing I do for my dash, beside cleaning it. Its one of the few places my dog doesnt paw up so Im not too worried about it. That motherfucker has managed to scratch the plastic lens over the cluster display though.

 

I cover the dash with a full ceramic window film. You can get clear if you prefer not to have it tinted.
Works wonders.

 

I always thought those things looked hideous. And they accumulate every spec of dust flying around the cab. But then again, what the hell do I know!

 

No thanks, just want to protect the dash and see what the thoughts are about them.

Well I bought a dash carpet on a whim really cheap from FB marketplace over a year ago and it’s still on, much to the chagrin of my family… lol. It’s def oldman-ish, but what the hell. And I’m not as young as my head thinks I am anyway. Here is the latest addition to it.

My first wife’s father had an old C/K with a carpeted dash cover plastered with Cuban flags, parking tickets, and sweat stained trucker hats.

There was a member here that had his Hot Wheels in a clear tube on the dash, so he could watch them roll back & forth.

 

My wife’s 2011 Camry dash is turning to a sticky fvcking mess from the sun “melting” it. Only solution was to put a cheap cover on it AND my Taco.

 

I said "to me" as in my opinion. Of course subjective as an opinion. If you don't get it you don't.
