Looking into retrofitting the headlights on my 2015 dcsb off road. Can't decide weither to get the d2s 3.0 or the fxr's. Are the fxr projectors worth the cutting and extra time? Thanks for the input up front. Looking forward to yalls input.

The Morimoto Mini doesn't require any cutting and it has more than acceptable light output/quality.

Both are great projectors. It depends on your experience. Fxr is a little better but harder to install. Mini d2s, you can install then rotate the projector to align. Fxr, you gotta jb weld it in place, while holding it aligned

Are the mini h1 even questionable? I know that they just came out with a new updated one. Id love to have a set up close to this. I'm just trying to get the best bang for my buck.

Mini h1 7.0 looks awesome. Super wide! The only thing is, you can only use h1 bulbs where as mini d2s and FXRs, you can use morimoto's d2s or oem d2s bulbs.

I've installed two sets of mini d2s and would definitely recommend them for their price, performance, and ease of installation.

I have the FXR. Imo the larger FXR projector fills the light housing better proportion wise. Output wise, I can't really compare them since I have never seen them side by side.

Edit: this is my experience with '05-'11 headlights. Didn't realize you're asking about '12-'15
