I like the three sided triangle design and that price. Already ordered the lifetime LEDs, but am looking forward to your review.

Two illuminate for the low beam and the third comes on with the high. The design has changed a little from the picture. It's a little slimmer now.

    Any updates? Pics?

I've got soooo many questions :)

Are you having issues with cutoff like the other LED light bulb replacement kits? does the rubber boot fit over the back of the light?

I'm curious to see how that fan used to cool it holds up.. Wonder if it will stand up to being wet or under water. There are times when I'm out hunting that I cross rivers and streams and the water gets over the hood.

Here is a link to a motorcycle site where I first discovered the bulb. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=948701
Lots of info there but all moto related.
Installing was tight but not impossible. I used the standard clips and a flathead to latch them between the bulb and the fan. I modified the rubber boot to fit around the fan. It comes with 4 different rings to seat the bulb in the housing. 15 seconds with a screwdriver and you're in business. Just match what comes out. According to the link they have soaked them and tested them for hours without issue.
Last night was the first time I've been out with them at night but only drove a few miles. They are better than the stock bulbs for sure. I was on dark back road and 4 lane highway near Moab. I was not flashed like with HIDs aimed in the same location. It's hard to give good feedback with only a few miles on them but I'm super happy with the change on my motorcycle and they seemed to work just as well in the truck. At the moment I only have my phone camera so it's hard to get photos with the same exposure setting. This photo is from the same bike I have and accurately shows what I've seen after installing. Truck uses the exact same bulb.

I pulled the trigger on these.
I'm running 90/100 halogens iirc, so I doubt these will be as bright.

But I like the 3 bulb/triangle design and adv recommendation. No lifetime warranty like the Lifetime's but they're half the price. So if they aren't my cup of tea I'll put them in my volvo 240 e-codes w/ no hard feelings...

If I have the time I'll re-aim my headlights, throw in my stock bulbs and do a review. It's finally getting dark before my bed time. :cookiemonster:

At the moment I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE BULBS, at least for a 1st gen 01-04....

Plug and play isn't possible. It'll involve changing wire locations on the led harness. And then, I'm guessing (because of the ground switching high/low circuit in these trucks...) you have to splice the high beam relay to a separate relay, fed from the battery to get the high/low beam in the stalk to work. (Guessing, didn't try).

The rubber boot behind the headlight and the oem H4 spring/bulb holder won't work together. It's either one, or the other. I also had to modify the spring to keep the bulb in the headlight socket.

I was able to wire the led in high"(3 led)" beam, so it is on all the time. The high beam doesn't throw half as far as a halogen. And not a huge difference between high/low configuration.

The leds in stock 04 housing scatter light a bit and may be annoying to on-coming drivers.

They're definitely bright and well made, but they're going in my grocery-getter. Hopefully I won't have these issues on there.

Sorry to hear that. Other than trimming the rubber boots I was able to plug and play on my 06. After using them for a few weeks I agree there is not the same high/low difference as with a halogen bulb.
Overall I'd give them a 6.5/10. better than stock but nothing amazing. I have no issues with leaving them in and seeing how long they last.

Yeah, I'm bummed. I wish they worked. But as long as they're pnp on the vulva, I'd definitely be happy. Probably only push 40-50 amps @ hwy speed on the alternator in that car. So the battery will be happy with the low wattage bulbs.

Welp, so the two vehicles these lights have gone onto, I don't recommend for either. Unless your halogen headlight reflectors have a quirk, where you can have decent cutoff to avoid blinding other drivers then maybe they're worth a try.

In both vehicles, they act like aux flood lights, throwing light everywhere, bright white and they don't project very far.

Halogen designed headlights with LED headlight bulbs are not something that seem to work well together.
