CV Axles? Left Right Specific?

    Quick question. Are the CV axles interchangeable side to side?

    Yeah, thank you. That's what I thought.

    I received this rebuilt axle from CVJ last night. I was going to install it today. Then, I looked at the invoice. It doesn't specify left or right.

    I did notice that the part # ends with "-D". I. Hoping that this "D" doesn't stand for drivers side. I need to replace the passenger side axle...

    I would imaging they would use a L or an R to signify the correct side, but who knows. I guess I'll give them a call in the AM...

    We did my passenger side last week, that axle will work and it's really not a big deal to do.

    Oh, I misunderstood your meaning. I thought you were saying that the axles weren't interchangeable. I forgot how I phrased my own question... :facepalm::D

    I checked out a video and a couple of write ups on the swap. Seems pretty straight forward. Thank you sir!
