I replaced the boots on left and right side CV axles and one clamp seems to be allowing a small amount of grease to come out.

I'm not sure if it's tightened to little/much, if the clamp needs to be on just a tad more, or a combination of the two..

    Looking for recs

I just replaced my boots as well. It may be the leftover grease from tightening the clamp. Wipe it and check after driving. You may need to retighten; that’s what I had to do. No grease should be leaking!

I'm lazy. I'd drive it and hope it stops.
I damn sure ain't pulling it out to warranty it.
    I'd ignore (for now) :anonymous:

I did mine recently. I didn’t want to overtighten the hose clamp, but then I had some seepage. I cleaned it off really well and gave the clamp nut a couple more rotations and problem solved.

Same exact thing I would do TBH.

Especially considering it that the location where you are seeing that small bit of schmoo isn't the end of the CV boot where most of the grease will be slinging.

If you wipe it off, then operate vehicle, does it return??

I just checked my replace boots from about 10k ago. Minor leak like the OP's. Simple tighten the clamp, all good.
