I don't even have Methods, but every time I see that protruding OEM center cap it gives me anxiety and triggers my OCD. Hence this modification.

 

I know that's how i feel about them too but i sadly have no fabricating skills. Am glad some finally did it. I'll post some pics on here when I get them so others will see how they look.

Is that an original Methos cap? All the ones I have seen are 6 bolt..

 

Yea, I have double standards but had issues with the centercaps paint chipping. They sent me the NV ones (when the NV first released). Finally one of the plastic parts broke off so I broke the rear off and now have this lol.

Mine had those 6 silver bolts but they were for looks, it had three screws holding the plastic to the metal.

I've been driving around with a broken cap all summer cuz I can't bring myself to buy and break another!!

I am not sure if there has been a change in center cap models, but I designed this around a set of authentic(not sure production date) Method center caps that I had. My caps has 3 real bolts as well. Along with 3 fake bolts. BUT the metal locking ring has 6 holes. Unfortunately, the only way of knowing would be to remove the wheel and looking inside. I was unaware of this "3 bolt hole" version, and if it is more common..I can definitely make one for those too.

You broke it off because it sticks out too far! Get low and you won't have a problem

Just going off your pictures, I'm gonna say no. Mine has a lip that indexes on the metal rim..would not fit a regular round hole. but if you want to measure the diameter opening, I'm happy to design a similar one with only 3 bolt mounting holes.

 

damn those look good. I bet if you made some for 1069 procomps you could sell a bit of those too..
