First time designing a plate bumper

I worked with my buddy over the last couple weeks to get this bumper from concept over a couple beers to a functioning rear bumper with a flip down access to storage space. Super happy with the outcome. Wired in some led lights for the license plate as well as keyed locking system for the toolbox. Still need to mount trailer light receiver. Big thanks to my buddy for his expertise and guidance as he allowed me to help and learn.

Please give me feedback. Pros Cons... I'm open to it all. I'm working on an idea for a front bumper that I'll be building in the near future. Thanks

Huh. Interesting idea. Did you have a need for more storage in that location specifically? I guess I'm curious about how the idea came about. Seems kinda....gimmicky I guess? I dunno, not for me, but hey, I have a storm trooper shifter knob haha. +1 for originality.

I'd also work on those corners, looks like its already been in an impact haha. Could be the angle of the photos though.

I keep Jumper Cables, Chain, and load straps in the tool box without any rattling, very happy with the outcome. Check it out. Created a new front bumper also, will post pictures.IMG_6375_zpsa0468317_54e036c77b8042fb0a7ea86e3559087c9b2dd54e.jpgIMG_6376_zps41bc406f_dbbd2ac1256a247838a29e23e27f6c5ae12c05f1.jpg

I like the creativity and putting thought to action to product!! Personally wouldn't necessarily need a tool box bumper, maybe sealed for compressed air but you can do that on the front!

Gotta love it when 2 beers end up being a bumper box!!

Nice work. The tool box is a cool touch.
