Looking for someone to possibly fab a headache rack for me. Does need to be anything fancy at all I have a very simple design, the only challenge may be figuring out to attach it to the truck bed due having a toolbox currently installed. Budget is about $200-$250 possible more if it is within reason. I live in Huntington Beach so I'm willing to drive to anywhere in the orange county area for the most part closer the better to Huntington would be preferred.

This is kinda of the design im going for but im am open to pretty much anything. I wouldn't want the American flags or the cutouts for the lights. I will take care of painting it, all I need is someone to fab it and help with the design for attaching to the truck bed.

Either reply or send me a PM if your interested.

I’m in the fabrication business and I couldn’t make that for less than $500 with labor and jigs and all that welding and finishes. You will also need to do some CAD layout to make sure you cut the tube correctly. The lasering for the 2 meshes are already $200 for set up and material for small order.

I tried making a custom FJ style roof rack and it ended up cost me nearly $800...and that was just mandrel bending.

ok ya that is a little high on the budget wise i could probably go to like $300 would be max but maybe something to think if i make some money on the side. Is there any suggestions on material that would bring the cost down but be close in the design.

He doesn't want all that other waterjet/plasma cut pieces, just the general main tubes I'm assuming in which case a 20ft stick of 2" .090 wall tubing of mild would suffice and not set you back worth anything. If it was square tubing I could understand because not many people have the dies for it but maybe it's worth negotiating.
