Custom Decals

Anyone have a good lead on where I could create/order some custom decals for me taco?

I want to create something US Navy theme, that would fit in the rear quarter panel from the top of the bed to the bottom.

Im pretty proficient using AI and could create the vector file myself, but am leery of online shops and the quality. I want something I know isn't going to come off in a car wash or after a years time.

Also, is there a "type" of vinyl I should ensure I am getting?

Get yourself a Cricut. My wife has one and she is able to create stickers of smaller sizes (8x10 max I think). She has done a few for me that are close to MGM in color for my back window.

I just got a silhouette cameo off Amazon to do the same thing. Or you could hit up a seller on Etsy.

 

I want one for my tailgate that says: RAPTOR EATER!

So many annoying Raptors where I live driven by meatheads...

 

Just curious, what color is your Tacoma? I ask because as a Navy vet myself, I was actually tempted to get a cement color Tacoma, and then have it labeled up to look like an official Navy truck. They usually say "US NAVY" on the doors and the tailgate in black letters. I had also thought about doing it up to look like one of my old Navy ship's official trucks, with the name of the ship on the side too. Just curious....

 

My wife got a cricut for christmas. I'm more excited to use it than her so I can print all sorts of dumb stickers for the truck

 

The Navy Truck I drove for my submarine was a 1974 Dodge 1 Ton 4x4 Dually with manual steering, manual brakes and manual transmission (this was in the late 80's). I was the only shipmate who ever volunteered to drive it!!

 

+1 for the cricut. I got one for my wife a while back. I may or may not have pirated it for truck stickers.

 

@oogieaflick Mine is the desert sand color. Black rims and trim and such... Figured if I went with decals to keep them black as well.
But maybe a dark navy blue just might work. I was thinking 3 stripes, vertical from top and bottom with the USN anchor in between on the rear quarter panel.

I've posted this in other threads, but will put it in here as well. I wanted to reflect my service on my cement taco and ended up with this, done in black multicam with both interior & exterior accents wrapped as well. As mentioned earlier, Cboy808 did my decal.







He also cut the flag decal for me in the back:

I think that bolt graphic originated from Arfcom if i'm not mistaken

That bolt graphic is Arfcom's logo. Their members scour the internet for people selling stickers of it in hopes they'll get a free membership.

 

Yup, I second @CBoy808 as he did my Valhalla Edition with graphics and a font I provided. I will use him again.
