Custom Car Grilles

I was fortunate enough to receive one of the first 2024 Custom Car Grilles for my Tacoma. These Grilles are awesome. Communication from the company informative and fast. It took 3 days from Michigan to Southern Oregon. The product came packaged exceptionally well. The video instructions were easy to follow and very accurate. The quality of the grille is phenomenal. There are no sharp edges and the powder coating is evenly spread and looks] like it will last forever. I cannot say enough positives about my experience with Matt and Customcargrilles.

 

is the grill surround one piece with the bumper?

 

It all comes off as one piece. It does come apart though

 

that will be interesting to see in a collision, and how the ful width steel bumpers work with that and the lowered radar garnish.

 

Bumper is stock and with the '24 the Garnish is lower from the factory. Ot is no longer part of the grille.

 

To each his own but the stock grill looks 1000% better than that. If you like that is all that counts. I am sure I have done mods that some don’t like.

to clarify i meant it will be interesting to see if grills get damaged in bumper impacts due to be more connected than previous gens. Further i meant the radar being effectively in the bumper im interested to see how bumper manufacturers design and integrate bumpers.

Looks awesome, especially on the 4th gen. Love the blue. How are you liking the truck so far?

 

I came from a third gen and am loving everything about it. My only complaint about the truck is some of the tech. Having my truck message me ten minutes after leaving it to check my empty back seat got a bit annoying so I turned the app off and now all is good.

 

One month in and all is still great. All mounting points are tight and secure. Powder coat is holding up to gravel roads and washing weekly.

I did not. I got it from @customcargrills. He was great to work with, and the install was fairly straight forward.

 

I had two on my 2017. They are great.

 

Now that’s customer service! I still remember when a random guy jumped out of his rig at a red light during rush hour traffic to ask where I got the grill

And yes sir, it’s still turning heads 8 years later!
