So does anyone have experience with incentives direct from Toyota? I've got a decent deal and deposit down on a truck currently in transit. It is supposed to be here November 19. The current $1500 loyalty cash incentive expires November 4. My dealer said if they have new incentives come the 19th, I'll be entitled to those on top of the discounts my dealer gave me, but I don't expect they will extend the $1500 loyalty cash or have anything better. Is it worth a call to Toyota to ask to lock in that rebate or is that not possible?

The incentives that you can get are whatever is available when you actually make the purchase. Any arrangements you make are between you and the particular dealer. I'd talk to them about them honoring the loyalty cash if it's not around in a few weeks when your truck is, but I wouldn't get my hopes up. If they do agree, get it in writing.

Yea, and I understand that. No big deal, just wondering if anyone has talked directly Toyota to get one extended I guess.

I got a letter with loyalty incentive on it and kept it laying around and found out it was good for 2 weeks and when I got my 24 I let it lapse by 1 day and the dealer still honored it.

Don’t assume that this dealer can’t do even better than the written customer incentives. They have internal incentives with Toyota to clear all of these ‘24’s still sitting around, and might be willing to take a hit, especially if they think you might walk.

It’s going to get late pretty early for dealers to make their year-end numbers.

I think Toyota is in trouble with the Tacoma. Yes there's been a rush to have "the new model" but once those buyers are cleared out sales will plummet due to a few factors, the largest being the asking price. And historically Toyota does not reduce its prices, they only offer incentives like 0% financing or a loyalty amount. IMO Toyota's going to have a tough year ahead in regards to the Taco. Four cylinders, plastic seats, prices that are in line with a Tundra. Yikes.....

Here in California the local dealers are offering $4000 on anything that’s on the lot, but I’ve had sales creatures approach me and say that they’re willing to take offers below that.

Interesting. I've seen dealer offers at MSRP (no mark up) and an incentive of "1% loyalty rate reduction" off financing. But nothing else.

My local dealer was also offering some incentives on the Land cruisers because apparently Toyota is sending them more than they asked for.

I went to test drive one and they offered me $1000 below MSRP but my wife says the battery hump sucks.

Next round of incentive should be out Monday 11/4. You may see a small drop in interest rates from TFS, but I do not expect much until December. $$ Incentives on the 24's I feel will need the 25's to hit production, specially if there are increasing numbers of 24's still in the pipeline. I am expecting delivery on about 4 weeks and hoping for some sort of incentive. My last Ram I bought was factory incentive of $7500 off plus discounted interest and dealer cash. They were giving them away.

There are no deals around here unless you want a base model plus there is very little inventory of top models most are spoken for before hitting the dealer lots

Besides the halo models like the trail hunter, the discounts here are for every single model they have on a lot. And they have lots of them.

The 4 cylinder turbo engine is way stronger than your 3.5 v6. Drive one, you’ll be impressed.

There’s people saying right now they’re getting $5000 plus off MSRP, I’ve managed a couple $46-$4700 off MSRP offers here in San Diego but this is for vehicles on the lot. Larger discounts for other areas throughout the United States from what I hear

There’s no changing certain peoples mindset, doesn’t matter how much faster it is, they can’t get past their mindset that it sucks because it’s not a V6 and it’s only a four-cylinder…

Well if anyone has inside info on what the next offer is going to be, please share. Here is the current one expiring November 4.

Several dealerships in the Bay Area here that have these sitting on the lot for a few months are giving $4000 plus. Walnut Creek Toyota has an entire lot full of Tacomas that are not moving. And these aren’t just the base models.

same in MA. my bank has a much better rate, but my truck hasn't arrived yet. i'm hoping toyota has a way better offer when this one expires on 11/4, but i'm only financing $20k and refinancing is easy enough anyway (rates are going to go down again soon), so i'm not overly concerned either way.
