Rough Country Bull bar, Redrock side steps, Raxial Axiom black housing halogen headlights, LED black housing tail lights, K&N oiled filters, black rear bumper, TVD red emblem inlays, black powder coated 16” five spoke sr5 rims, Falken Wildpeak at3w 265/70R16 tires, spidertrax 1.25” wheel spacers, torch sway bar drop kit, g2 red epoxy painted calipers, tinted cab glass, hood protector, Trifecta folding Toneau cover, Argent raptor grill w/ leds, led fog lights, Bilstien 4600 shocks, Rigid d-series midnight edition spots, Redline hood struts
Been searching a few sights for what everyone has mounted on a Bull Bar as far as cube lights go. The mounting points on my Rough Country (I know not really prefered maker here and elsewhere) are located on the lower cross bar - so a 6” is max and that would mean having to relocate my front plate - cause yeah Mass State Troopers have an issue with obscuring their view….. There are literally dozens out there. I have ended up ordering a set of Rigid D-Series Pro Spot Midnight Edition. They are smaller but throw 3164 lumens per light and from what I’ve read out perform Auxbeam and others.

any thoughts or what you would have choosen are appreciated.

Here’s a pic of my front end now…
The “predrilled and tapped” mounting positions are like 2” off either side of the front plate…. Really didn’t want to drill more holes in the bar.

@OffroadToy I like the grills… and they fit well inside that bar. Were those mounting points on the bar or did you have to drill/tap…?

@OffroadToy Nice setup. My truck doesn’t have the power outlets so I have an empty slot next to my fog light toggle. Previous owner of the truck had already installed a switch for lights that were not in the truck when I picked her up. I have already pulled out all that wiring (it was a mess). And yeah, he hacked the dash when he installed that switch too…

Downhill Assist Control... with it engaged you can crawl down a steep incline without touching the brake pedal... works in both forward and reverse. Truck needs to be in 4WD low with the tranny in low gear.

Oh ya I’m aware what downhill assist is, comes stock on most trucks. Had it on my tundra.

I should have clarified more. I was wondering if it exclusive to the OR models or if you added it?

I put Diode Dynamics SS3 Pros in fog light pattern in my 2015's ARB bullbar as replacements for the original halogen fog lights when one of the bulbs burned out (the bulbs are crazy difficult to replace in the ARB fogs -- almost non-serviceable). Superb light from the Diode Dynamics, although TBH I think the original halogens look better. The LEDs are technically cubes, but I have them mounted with DD's round bezels using the bullbar adapter kit from Paranoid Fabrications.

I have the same set but in yellow. Love them. They survived a front end collision this year while on my Tacoma. Took them off, bought new brackets and put them on my F150. Still work just as good as the day I got them...

Technically, mine are selective yellow, too. But I'm running them with white lenses these days. DD use a warmer-white emitter for the yellow SS3 Pros, so fitting white lenses gives about 4000-4500 K light. It's a closer match to the halogens on the truck's main beams.

The yellow lenses are in my parts collection for when I feel like running those -- it's a pretty quick swap.

(Note that that warmer-white trick won't work with all the LEDs in the SS3 series. Some are 6000 K like most LED lighting, and the selective yellow lenses for those are MUCH darker than for the SS3 Pros.

Mounted the Rigid lights to my bull bar last week. I picked up a set of the yellow/amber rigid covers to tone them down a bit - these things throw an amazing amount of light a good distance. I understand they designed “for off road use only” but they are great at 4:30-5am on the back roads with no traffic, no street lights and tree cover….

I've had great luck with Amazon cheapos. The kawell 'brand' specifically and they cost a tenth of what the name brands cost. At that price even if I'm replacing them every other year..
