Pulled my 2.7 out to replace engine mounts and when I put it back in I am not getting any voltage to or from the crank and cam sensors. Engines cranks but will not start. 99.9% sure all wires are connected and in their rights spots. Got ECM and everything came back fine, now I am stuck. Anyone else have this issue and if so how did you fix it?

Check all the fuses. Check engine light come on with key on engine off? Do you have a scanner? What are you using to check voltage to sensors?

Pretty sure check engine light does come on. Checked all fuses and ground and everything is good. Using just a regular volt-ohm meter. Having a buddy scan it today.

I’m fighting this same problem right now. Got a new ecm today thinking my was toast and turns out that did not fix my problem. Got no shorts. Continuity is good from plug to computer. Efi and open circuit relay both good. Getting no spark. Also is your fuel pump coming on?

Ran a scan on it today. Codes for misfire in all 4 cylinders, which I already knew because I was getting no spark. Found I am getting RPM signals, so that rules out the crankshaft sensor having issues, so it brings me down to cam sensor not sending signal to fire. I will check voltage and ohms for cam sensors wires again. Unsure if I should try changing out cam sensor.

    Boom! This.

I read somewhere someone had an issue that ended up being caused by a missed ground somewhere in the engine bay. A small one toward the back perhaps. Don't know if it was a 4 or 6 though. Good luck...that sucks.

I have the ground at the firewall to corner/back of the head. Ground going to the coil packs. Ground at the front of the intake manifold. And the ground right beside the battery going to the battery. Am I missing any?

Honestly that sounds pretty comprehensive. But I don't know. Keep combing through there. It has to be something loose or missed. Sorry I can't be of more help w/o actually looking in there myself. Maybe a second set of eyes? That always helps me.

Check the engine coolant sensor and wiring as well.

Grounds were not clean enough. Cleaned them all up and she kicked right over. Idles great and no check engine lights.
