Hi guys, we're introducing the final look of our Packout Campers!

As some of you may know we started Packout Campers at the beginning of the pandemic in our two-car garage while posting the progression of our build on Instagram. After 2.5 years of research and development, we are finally starting production!

We understand that everyone Packs Out differently and any rig needs to be customized to suit specific adventures, which is why it's our company goal to provide the most modular camper on the market. The entire structure of our frame is made out of 360 degrees T slotted extrusion which provides endless mounting configurations and will allow for a wide variety of accessories some of which are in development right now. Each accessory we've developed has come from fellow overlanders giving input on what would be most useful when carrying their gear while offroading.

During the pandemic, my wife and I picked up mountain biking, we came across a range of riders on the trails with varying experience levels. The main concern we've heard from those who mount their bikes from the rear is that they lose their departure angle when climbing steep hills and their bikes, some ranging from $1500 to $10k, get caked on with mud kicked up by their tires. We've come up with a solution that allows you to mount your bikes directly on either side of the camper, keeping your rig as sleek as possible on the exterior and maintaining your interior space free for other use.

We've also developed a mounting enclosure for Redarc manager 30 Red Vision that mounts on the front panel of the camper. This enclosure allows you to showcase your Redarc, but more importantly, easily organize your wiring setup and reach controls.

We are very excited to hear your input for future accessory development. We're also encouraging other companies to come up with accessories that would benefit future Packout owners!

    Pricing starts at $ 9,500
    Current lead time 6-7 weeks

The camper looks awesome! Im not in the market but I believe potential customers will be interested to know more details such as price and options, do you offer a bare bones structure? Do you have items in stock? What’s the lead time? We’re you guys located? You know that basic stuff. Cheers!

That thing is sweet. Would be curious to know what options you guys already have planned for it and the additional cost....though it's purely curiosity as I already have a GFC and no plans for now to change.

Price definitely seems fair considering the other options on the market.

Thank you. We have 3 accessories that have been tested already. The Redarc case, bike mounts on both sides of the window, side shower swing out, full front molle, Half molle, and window shelvings are in development.

    IMG_2206.jpg

    Full-back molle option.

    _DSC1101.jpg

Bike mount option. The mount in this picture is our prototype. The final front mount will be quick release rather than through axle lock.

    IMG_1165.jpg

Side window molle shelves. This one is also being finalized.

We also have our full chef side table in the works.

How 'waterproof' are the doors? Do they leak?

We used continuous rubber hinges for all windows and for the panels when they close we used rubber bulb seals to make them waterproof.
