Recently member @Black DOG Lila recommended Corroseal for rust. I'm glad to learn about this product. It works as advertised. Thank you Lila!

To demonstrate the product, I want to post some pictures of real use case that I have going with an EGR assembly part from another car maker.

I used a regular paint brush to apply Corroseal. It looks like white cream.

Just brush it on the surface that you want to convert.

I treated one side of the rusty EGR part last night to show how well it works.

This stuff is so easy to use that it ought to be illegal. Ha!

During the night, Corroseal converted the rust to black primer. I will go ahead and treat the rest of the part, finish it, and put it away for future use.

Rarely do I see a product with so many positive reviews.

Here's a video of a guy using it to convert a rusty trailer hitch.

I applied corroseal to the frame, suspension and any other part of the under carriage of my 2015 sport. I wished I would have taken before pics but I didnt. The results were amazing.

Reviving this ancient thread. Now that ya'all have used the stuff for a couple of years, did it hold up?

I’ve been using this stuff here and there over the past 3 years. Starting with a new rear axle and u bolt brackets I put on.

I painted this on first with a chip brush, hit it with VHT Chassis paint and then woolwax overtop annually. So far zero sign or crustiness returning.

Also just did the hitch on my DD Nissan Rogue a few months ago. No woolwax treatment on that so will let you know how it holds up with only a topcoat of paint.
