Looking at getting rid of my stock 265/70 16 Goodyears and going with a 265/75 16 ST Maxx. Any pros of cons? Traction on wet pavement?

Great traction in the wet and snow. So far they are pretty quiet for an aggressive tire. The only con is that they're heavy, but it's a good trade-off for one of the best tires out there right now

I had the 285/75/16 ST Maxx on my 2016 and I loved them. I did a lot of wheeling in them and never had a single problem. Going through some really tough stuff where other people wheeling had blowouts and the ST Maxx kept going. Only con to the tire that I noticed was that they were pretty quiet on the road at first but after about 20k miles they got a little louder. Nothing too crazy but enough to notice that they were louder. I loved them and will be going back to them when my K02's wear out.

Good call! I believe they have a pretty good sale through their eBay store in February. Last year they had $100 off any subtotal over $400 and you could use the promo code twice! If they do it again I might get some Cooper Pro’s :)

Only con to Maxxs is that they aren’t Pros :D

    D678A937-558B-4D7A-A707-700F734CF399.jpg

Seriously Though. I’ve had both. The Maxxs were good off road. The Pros are great. Both, to me, are better than KO2s

I didn’t notice any difference in on road driving. We drove two hours in snow and freezing rain in CO, towing a trailer, on the way to Moab in Oct on 35” Pros. They were great.

The Cooper ST MAXX or the Pro's beat the KO2's hands down. I have owned all 3

I ran these tires on my Tundra and they were great for years. Plenty of traction and easy to deal with on long freeway drives. Would recommend.

How many miles did most of you that ran a set of the ST Max get out of them? Start to finish.

I run the Maxx. Hold up to the desert race tracks I help support in the nicer months, and gets me though all the snow I could ask for in the winter. I'll cetrainly be picking up a new set when these run out.

I see on their website they have the 255/75r17 in C load, you guys think it would be a better idea instead of going for a E load? I'm a not doing any rock crawling but will still do some wheeling, think fire roads or such.

I'd get the Tundra Pro 17" wheels if I have to switch from 16".
