Anyone know how much it would cost to convert my single pane rear window to a sliding glass window? It isnt broke or anything just looking into pricing and where to get it done.

Call up a few glass shops in your area and get quotes? :notsure:

The back window is glued on like a windshield, so removal involves cutting through the adhesive and prepping the surface. Whole process should take less than an hour based on these two videos:

The rear sliding window on my 2013 DC is stuck - almost like it came out of the rubber lining. Thoughts on how/where to fix this? Dealership was no help. :(

Just did the opposite.. broke a pane on my 3 piece slider and replaced with a single. If I remember correctly, you can get the 3 piece installed from safelite for somewhere between $500-$700.

It may beside the point, but the one piece is superior in my opinion. I’d stick with it unless you have a very specific reason?

Shoot, I would trade you for it. In almost 13 years I could count on one hand the number of times I've ever slid that little window open.

It’s too bad the Tacoma never got the rear sliding window like the Tundra.

I have always had sliding rear windows on my pickups. I use them a lot.

I've been using mine lately when I got pipe I'm going to need for a job. Sitting on the tailgate with a strap looped around the pipe and secured to the rear tie downs, it's not going anywhere.

I have a tacoma 2019 SR with a solid single pane window and was looking into getting my window replaced to get a sliding rear window. Does anyone know how easy it is to make this switch? and im open to trading windows with someone who wants a solid window. Im located in maryland.

    thanks
