I saw theses on forums I was wondering if anyone use one on their Tacoma

They have mix reviews either it good, it drain the battery or worst it mess up the car's computer setting off all the warning lights

Not sure it base on specific make and model or it just pure bad luck

I'd be impressed if it managed to cause warning lights, but I don't know how it's wired. If you're concerned, I'd suggest just using an Add-A-Fuse on a circuit that's still energized while on battery. But, it sounds like you're not too comfortable with wiring electronics if you're looking to purchase something like this. If that's the case, and I apologize if it isn't, maybe someone local to you can help out, otherwise, a shop will gladly help you out.

I was hoping to a find a easy way to hardwire a dashcam without messing the fuse box.
I mostly concern since new cars are very sensitive due to their computer parts possibly getting ruin

I would go to a shop but they charge too high for the installation
    I understand its business
Unless they're price include their own dashcam and wire kit, I cant agree with the price

Well, there is a wire going to the rearview mirror that is on battery and always has power.

You'll be fine. I've hard-wired a dashcam into two vehicles (Highlander & Tacoma) and its quick and simple.

I'm not sure if it has been confirmed or not, but maybe the connector is tucked inside of the headliner?
