I thought I saw a thread of people putting these wheels on their 2024, but can't find it. So if you have the link for it, please point me to that.

I took these off my 2015 Tacoma, and the service center couldn't tell me if they're compatible with my 2024. They also quoted me a price of $295 to program the TPMS in them.

The wheels will fit, but you need new lugs, and a center hub spacer.

I read the 2024 is smart enough that you can get the truck to recognize two sets of sensors. Summer and winter. It should recognize the sensors from your 2015. Takes 30+ miles to get them set.

Instructions in the owners guide around page 540.

They turned out great with the Rave Off Road lug nuts. Coincidentally they were put on the same day Toyota sent a recall on the 17” OEM Off Road wheels, which I put in storage and will deal with tomorrow. 265/70/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on them.

Are those OEM or Replicas? I thought the offset was too much for the 4th gen on the OEM wheels. How much poke did you get?

What spacers and lugs did you need to get?

Any issues swapping the 4th gen tpms into the sema wheels?

At first my shop just replaced the 2 sensors whose batteries had died, and he thought everything was programmed correctly, but the tire pressure warning light was on and the pressure values didn’t update on the guage cluster. I figured I’d drive it over the weekend to see if it would update, but it didn’t.

So I brought it back, and that’s when he found out the other 3 weren’t compatible and he ordered replacements. So Thursday I’ll know for sure when he puts them in and programs them. He didn’t indicate any issues with installing the tpms, but I’ll update this thread on Thursday

Interesting enough the “Setting wheel position while driving” is now displaying. Also I don’t remember there being a pressure value slot for the spare until now.

Thanks for sharing. Interesting about the other 3 not being compatible but 1 was?

    5 because I have a matching spare

The originals are from 2015 and the battery died on 2 of them, so they are new sensors

He had to order more sensors to replace the other 3

It was my understanding that the hub bore was different between the generations...how did the tire shop account for that?

Hub ring to take it from 106 to 95. Assuming of course they did that.

Doesn't sound like they did. OP stated they just used different lug nuts.

Look up the specs on your wheels. The center bore is designed for gen 2 and gen 3 Tacomas at 106.1mm.

The 2024+ Gen 4 Tacoma and 2025 4Runner has a wheel hub center bore of 95.1mm.

Older wheels can go on the new Tacoma, but the 4gen wheels will not go on older gen Tacomas.

In your case, a hub spacer should have been installed to take it from 106 down to 95.

Do some searches and you’ll see all of the discussions on this.

So I got these spacers, and they specifically mention a safe OEM ride. I’m pushing back the appointment to get the replacement TPMS installed until after these come in.
