Earth cruiser makes a gzl 300 & a gzl 400 camper that run around the same price as the Kimbo. They make them for the Mid-size and larger pickup market. You should check them out. I do know what the earth cruisers cost, I’ve been by there shop in beautiful bend or. If money was no option I’d have one lol.
There also building a version on a Toyota Tacoma pro chassis. But those start at around 285k.

Nice, those are pretty slick. I didn't realize EC was making those, I thought they just made the ridiculous unimog builds.

I’ve got a V2 GFC. It’s great, especially considering its price vs the competition. If you want a minimalist, super-light camper (only 205 lb. for the standard size!) it’s a great choice.

I've been looking at those tents. How big is it on the inside. I'm 6 foot so with that slant in it I don't think I will have a lot of room.

The sleeping area is 50”x90”. It does get short in the front of the wedge so that’s where I keep clothes and gear. The overall platform is more like 96” long. The front most portion is the hinge area so the 90” sleeping area doesn’t start at the very front if that makes sense.

I’ll measure the length of usable height (say length with at least 1-ft space) next time I have the tent open.

I am 5ft 11in and have plenty room in mine and you still could use the entrance area too when it would get tight.
I think it took me roughly 2 month to finish it in the evenings after work. Much better then the 1year wait time for manufactured ones

Highest recognized road in Canada, Canoe Mountain Road. Just outside Valemount BC. Gets a little dicey in spots because it does gain about 2000 meters in elevation. I live nearby and it's on my list for next year.

just measured it and the length for which there is a minimum of 1-ft usable height is about 79”.

I would say they have the best quality, and best design of any of the wedge style campers I’ve seen in person.

Im about to go pick up my V2 GFC. Ive seen a V1 in person, and it was damn good quality. Probably the reason why i bought one. And cant beat the price I paid. Plus its only about ~225lbs
