So I think I am set on Blue Crush Metallic but when I look at all Allocation including ones in freight and on the ground(not including ones marked sold) on OR, Sport, and Limited is seems like Toyota does not think it will be a popular color. There are almost as many Supersonic Red ones and that color cost extra. I also thought the Bronze Oxide would be popular as well but not a lot of those either. A bunch of Undergrounds though.

I am wondering how Toyota decides what quantity of what colors they produce.

    Row Labels Count of Color
    Black 1214
    Blue Crush Metallic 460
    Bronze Oxide 452
    Celestial Silver Metallic 1330
    Ice Cap 1970
    Solar Octane [extra_cost_color] 344
    Supersonic Red [extra_cost_color] 437
    Underground 2214
    Wind Chill Pearl [extra_cost_color] 395

Also it looks like a 342 at dealers and 1185 in ports or on trains/boats.

The 2024 color pallet seems sensible. I am seeing some blue crush listed on dealer websites in state. Only a couple bronze. I thought someone wrote Toyota had a paint issue in bronze that is delaying them.

I think Terra with the black top is sooooo nice looking. But I don't have the funds for that, I wish the color was on more trims.

"This flagship color for the Tacoma Trailhunter trim level is a dusty gold that gives the truck a rugged appearance. This shade is more of a brown with an undercoat of grey. This exceptional color has a metallic finish in which you can see specks of a gold color up close."

To my eyes on a computer screen, it looks more dark green over medium grey (cement).

That’s great looking. Is it pro only?

I was trying to get a Bronze but without seeing it in person I was a little hesitant.

Definitely need to see it in sunlight and under cloud cover. The Colorado’s bronze looks cool in sunlight photos but it’s just poop brown under cloud cover. Totally ruins it

I went basic black, but I think it is the most "aggressive" looking color. Should look great with some tint.

Yeah, I have not seen it in person so I guess I will hold final judgment.

It was cloudy. It looked very brown. Whoever called it the color of a turd wasn’t far off, unfortunately. I would like to like Terra, but there’s no way I would buy it.

4Runner Pros in that color are sitting all over the US. The color, price and interest rates are all a factor. That and Underground is just cooler.
