I put mine under the hood, did a write up in the thread. I adjusted it just the one time. That being said, under hood keeps a corrosion prone device out of the road elements.

F&R Alcans, or just replacing the front? You close enough to Grand Junction to save on shipping? And I've yet to run Yansing Gulch, so I'm looking forward to my 1st run!

I'd say that before doing that, one should have a lot of confidence in their ability to gauge brake bias on the fly. You could get into a lot of trouble quickly if you overadjust while carrying a load or in poor traction--exactly the times one might be most tempted to try to eek out a bit more performance.

It seems like chasing incremental gains from a system where good enough is good enough.

Problem is his rear brakes are currently inactive, regardless of load. The stock bs was never a great design to begin with and all freeze up after 150k.
There are manual valves that work well, to adjust you find a nice gravel road and adjust the rear bias until the rear brakes just start to lock up.

The ABS, if he has it, doesn't know the rear isn't working because it sees the tone ring spinning, only acting up when the brakes lock up, so it thinks it's all good as far as it's concerned.

Just the front for now. I'm in Denver so alcans are an option. I run 63s in the rear, which I'd like to switch to a 58" pack at some point. There's also a chance at some point I'll convert everything to links and coilovers.

I'm not knocking the LSPV delete itself, just the extra step of putting the controls in arm's reach.

Your rear brakes have not been working since before the day i did the lift.:p
E-brake might be working, but that's mechanical.

Its was all over my yard when I bought the house. I pulled quite a bit of it when I moved in. If you sit next to it in the summer, you can see and hear it shooting seeds everywhere. I'll keep pulling it!

I've had decent success with roundup on it, especially if you add some surfactant to it. My neighbors yard is covered in it and I keep having to battle it on the fence line because he refuses to do anything about it on his side.
