I'm awfully close to putting some $ down on a 2014 DCSB, TRD Sport Pkg, 4x4, 6spd manual. I used to have a 95 Toyota Pickup 4x4 that had the evergreen pearl color, which seems to be pretty similar to the Spruce Mica. But I've recently been liking the Blue Ribbon Metallic; it just looks sharp to me.

Which color do you all prefer?

I love my spruce mica but it's impossible to keep clean.

Spruce Mica. Both are pretty good colors though IMO.

    Go Spruce Mica.
The blue doesn't look as good.
Of course, Pyrite Mica makes an excellent 3rd choice...

Spruce Mica. Never had anyone dislike it and have gotten thumbs up for it more than any colour I've ever owned.

I love my spruce. Coolest color on any vehicle out there in my opinion.

My 05 was blue and I really loved it. Upgraded to a 2014 and I really had my heart set on the SM but ended up getting the Pyrite instead. I am not anal on washing it (its a truck) and the Pyrite looks sharp but really masks the dirt- something to consider.

I am partial to Pyrite, then MGM, then Spruce, so I'll vote Spruce. :)

I prefer MGM and PM, but of the two you are looking at I like the blue.

Blue Ribbon would be my choice between the 2. Both colors are great, so you can't go wrong with either one.

I bought the silver in 2013 after heavily debating the green but I thought it was too dark. When I saw the new blue colour announced for 2014 I yelled an obscenity.

Is the blue ribbon different than the nautical blue? I like the deep blue of the nautical but just like the spruce, it's impossible to keep clean for more than a day. Not too worried about it though. Keep in mind, these dark colors show every flaw in the paint if you wheel your truck and get any "pin striping"

I just cast the tie breaker for blue. Funny thing is it is a tie. Both are great colors, but I wouldn't have either of them. I like light colors because they don't show the dirt. I had a black car once, and after washing and waxing I had about 30 seconds of enjoyment before the dust settled on it and ruined the whole effort.
