Color of speaker wires

I have a question. What color are the speaker wires on a 06 tacoma double cab? I want to check to see if my rca converter is hooked up right. My speakers just dont sound like they should. I bought the tacoma and it all ready had a system in it. It is three punch shallow mount 10's, a jl audio 1000, going through a kenwood passive eq, WITH THE STOCK HEAD UNIT. The guy said he hooked up the converter on the rear speaker wires behind the radio in the dash. Also when the truck is running and i turn my head lights on are off the subs pop. It scares my kids every time i do it. Its funny but very agravating. Please can anyone help. Any ideas?

 

Sorry for digging up a super old thread. But does anyone know if the colors that secretsquirrel gave would hold true for a 97 taco?
