Thanks for the post. I also have a S/C on my 2014 Taco and want to install the Volant Cold Air Intake w/ Ram Air Scoop. Looking at your image, you have a longer tube that is not used in the non-S/C installation. Was that included in the installation kit or did you have to provide your own?Screenshot_2016-08-20-22-33-52-1.jpg

I don't recall purchasing a different tube, I'm fairly certain it is the same tube as it only "looks" longer due to the engine cover that goes away post S/C install.

Gottcha! Thanks for the quick response. I just ordered mine.

Other upgrades that I'm doing this week are: replacing the 3" pulley wheel with a URD 2.85 pulley; replacing the headers with DT Shorty Headers; fabricate a short pipe with flanges so that I can bolt on and off the cat when I need to.

That means I should dyno it now before the next upgrades and then retune my UniChip... SHIT... I need someone to tune...

Got mine installed a few days ago. Definitely sounds more gnarly and accelerates a lot faster from 60-90 than before. I haven't gone off-road yet, but I'm very pleased. Also easy to install, but I recommend to look up the YouTube video to see a high level process.

Will the Volant also work with a snorkel on a second gen?

No upgrades yet, just upgraded from my 2005 SR5.
Looks like I'm late to the party here. If I just wanted to do intake only would the recommendation still be the aFe Magnum force or is K&N sufficient? I think I'll likely do both the intake and supercharger eventually but I at least want to drive the new truck long enough to where I'll really notice the change in power and acceleration.
