I do NOT intend this to be a debate about politics or anything like that.

For the last couple years, I have had a monthly subscription to Black Rifle Coffee Company. After hearing some recent claims about various opinions/stances by some of the head honchos at BRCC, I am thinking I will be canceling that membership, and looking for a new coffee company / brand to buy from.

I am a big believer in support my fellow Veteran's who have started businesses, small or large. Which is why I went with BRCC. So, do any of you have any recommendations on other Veteran owned coffee companies? Or at least any good suggestions that I can get internet based orders from? I drink my coffee black, my wife adds froo-froo stuff to hers, so it's likely to taste the same no matter what coffee it is, but I like a strong flavor, but not overly bitter.

    Much appreciated.

I've been buying BRCC for a while; I like their JB coffee. I know their owners have said and done a few things I don't necessarily agree with, and I too would be open to trying other veteran brands. Of course, if I limited myself to buying things from people who are in 100% lockstep in agreement with what I think, I wouldn't have much to buy. So I choose to buy from those that are the most in line with my beliefs, and BRCC is still better than the other big coffee companies in that regard.

I don't know about veteran status but it is a small USA brand that I enjoy- Ugly Mug out of Memphis.

They do good roasts. They also have some wild flavors for the other part of the house that doesn't prefer a pure bean. Ive ordered both.

The only coffee I drink these days are from Firehouse.

    https://firehouseroastery.com/

Not military veteran owned but fire fighter veteran. It’s a small local mom/pop shop right down the street from where I work in Prescott, AZ.

Local veteran/female owned coffee place here in Maine. Have only had their Bar Harbor blend and thought it was pretty good (thats all subjective though).

Here's another veteran-owned coffee co. I saw them on Palmetto State Armory's website. Seem to be reasonably priced compared to the other brands.

That about sums it up. I don't blindly support every veteran just because they are a veteran. I think it's stupid to financially support someone who does not support the same things I do. Especially if I can find other fellow veterans who have not done things I disagree with to do business with.

Regardless of personal opinion or political agenda a veteran is a veteran. You post this on a social media site and say you don’t want to get into politics but you’re unhappy with what Evan Hafer stands for. He’s a green beret, a no bullshit kind of person. You could have said I’m just looking for another veteran owned coffee company. You see what I’m saying it’s like you wanted people to know your politics. I’m personally offended that you feel only some veterans are worth supporting. You meant to say if they agree with your political views you will support them. All veterans are worth supporting regardless of their political views. I may not be a fan of our president but he’s still my commander and chief. I would be there if called upon. Maybe Starbucks is the coffee for you.

Choosing who we buy from is one of our freedoms. I stopped my Black Rifle coffee club membership because of the price increase. While I liked JB blend, I can get whole bean coffee of equal or better quality locally for a much better price. If I can find another veteran owned supplier at a decent price I will go for it.

You have the right to be offended, and I have the right to not care if you are offended, 'Merica.

As you are new here, the reason I didn't go into politics is that it is forbidden on this forum to discuss politics. Stay away from the meat of political discussions. The mods will delete it and ban you for discussing politics. It doesn't matter if you're on the right or left or in the middle.

I'm in a similar boat, veteran here, been subscribed to BRCC for years, but I'm finding it hard to like the changes in the coffee, prices, and then some changes in my own life have me looking for a better source of good coffee. I've been having issues with the shipping taking well over a week and some of my orders from BRCC have been lost, leaving me to buy locally to get by until my order arrived.

My biggest issue with BRCC has been reliability, they used to ship it next day when I started my subscription.
