Its all going to depend on the shop, what clutch is going to be installed. I replaced my clutch and replaced all the hardware and the pivot point with a new flywheel and a marlin crawler clutch and had about $450 in it. I wouldn't go cheap on this because it isn't an extremely hard job to do but time consuming.

600-1000 depending on kit and labor rate.

Book rate is about $550 in labor.

A good clutch kit like MarlinCrawler sells will run about $200-$250.

Surfacing the flywheel should run $50-80.

If the flywheel needs replacing, I highly recommend TGP. I had bad starter engagement issues with non-TGP.

Depends on how mechanically inclined and methodical/anal you are as well as tools on hand.

Took me 3 days but I take my time, double and triple check everything and I prefer unpowered hand tools.

A good shop can do it 4-8 hours. I've read of some guys doing it at home in that amount of time. I could have got mine done in 2 very long days but I like to take my time and call it quits when it gets dark.

I had a transmission jack. If you only have a floor jack, things might get complicated in getting it balanced and pointed correctly.

You will need a floor jack or a transmission jack. Or be able to bench press a few hundred pounds easily.

No instructions. Your best bet is to pick up a FSM, Chiltons or Haynes. The work required is fairly extensive.

I have drove 3 different manual toyota tacomas yesterday but when ingot in my truck this morning it didn't fill like the pressure pushing down like the other 2 did. This is the first time I have notice it. Do y'all think it might be because my transmison and stuff wasn't warm? All the trucks have around 170k on them original clutch

May be the master or slave cylinder in the clutch hydraulics.

I did my clutch in a day without a lift, just some tall jackstands and a transmission jack. With the clutch and new flywheel I'm in it about $400. You don't need any special tools besides sockets, wrenches, and the norm for working on a vehicle.

I did it less than 10k miles ago and my throwout bearing already chirps. That pisses me off.

It is NOT an easy job-it can be done.
I did it ONCE--will not do it again. (no help)
Get the parts-find someone to help or a local shop that will quote a price.

    Look at build!
This, pretty basic hand tools will get it done. Take your inside apart first then get the shifters off the top of the trans then go under and remove the crossmember and let the trans drop down some and throw a long extension on the top bell housing bolt, that's the easy way. I just dropped my tcase the other day and took an hour, would be similar for the clutch.. I did mine twice in the same day in 6 hours due to a faulty throw out bearing the first go around. Used the marlin clutch and had the flywheel turned at a local shop.

Also my throwout chirps as well and started shortly after the new clutch, my factory one did it as well.. something ive come to just deal with. but I found a fix, adjust what I assume is the little buttingunder the dash for the Cruise all the way out and it puts slight tension on the clutch pedal which makes the chirping stop, if you don't have cruise control of course as I dont.. if it cant be adjusted out far enough then use a zip tie and tie it to a point where it doesn't let the peddle return past the point of chirping
