Few days back I've noticed a metallic click when I fully engage my clutch.

Starting today my clutch is also "groaning" when engaged as well as the metallic click sound. Almost like a hinge that needs some oil.

Anyone else experience anything like this?

Not yet... but this is the first of my 4 MT Tacos (02, 05, 10, 12) that hasn't had some vocal qualities to the clutch. Fingers crossed.

Also this. Tacomas are notorious for having noisy/squeaky/sticky/poppy clutches. If you search the forums here you'll see numerous threads on the issue throughout 1st and 2nd gens.

Makes no sense why they can't get it right in the Tacoma, I had two manual trans Scion tC's before my truck and they were silent and engaged/disengaged seamlessly through all 150K miles that I had on both on them.

My Tacoma? Some days the clutch pedal creaks, other days it groans, other days it sticks for a split second when pressed down, other days it "pops" halfway up. And some days it's perfectly fine. Had the dealer look at it a few times and every fix they do is temporary at best. 'tis a mystery

Lubricating the clutch pedal spring assembly seems to help with the creaking though, whenever it comes back I just hit it with some dry lube. Usually helps for a few thousand miles at least.

seen disk brake grease mentioned many times... are you referring to graphite powder as dry lube?

Is the Pedal making the noise or are you hearing the actual clutch itself? Noisy pedals are common in our trucks.

The grease works well, that's what the dealer used one time when I asked them to do it. I just use this stuff recommended on here in another thread called Tri Flow lubricant, it's not "dry" like a powder is but it dries much more quickly than WD40 does so it's less likely to collect dirt.

Common complaint if you search forums. Noisy clutch pedal has been an issue on these trucks since I had a 2003 TRD Offroad Manual Trans.

Update: Finally got Toyota to look at the clutch. Apparently there's a clutch assembly cylinder that's bad and they're keeping it until it's fixed.
