Clear Paint Protection - Full Hood Protection, Mirror Backs and Toyoguard Exterior Paint Sealant?

Hello Taco experts, My new Taco included "The clear paint protection - Full hood package" in which a clear film was applied to the hood and mirror backs.
It also included the TOYOGUARD Platinum exterior paint sealant.

With all my previous vehicles I periodically apply a good, quality paint sealant (Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant) and then sometimes top with a liquid wax or sealant between applications. This has worked very well to protect and maintain the paint of my previous cars.

Is is advisable to apply a sealant and/or wax to the film coated areas of the Taco?? Will this provide additional protection and shine or will it damage or dull the film covered areas of the truck? Thank you very much for your help.

 

I got the same package on my 17’ no issue with adding sealant or wax over the film.

I have had same experience with the protective film package. Shines as well as rest of truck and the Zaino spritz now an then!!
