Noticed this bubble formed between base and clear coat. Started from a rock chip on the hood and quickly grew over a week to be a couple inches long. Should I leave the bubble or try to remove the peeling parts to where it hasn't delaminated yet? I know it probably can't be stopped but I at least want to slow the spread of it.

Keep it out of the sunlight and see a professional auto finish specialist.
If you opt for DIY use two part clear coat.

Limit sun exposure and get it in for repair before the bubble opens and exposes your paint

The paint has failed, just get it into a shop. They will strip the hood and repaint.

Have them remove the hood so they don't have to tape your fenders, the fenders might have poor paint work as well. Tape might start pulling paint off.

The clear coat is shot. A cheap alternative, sand it down and wrap it.

Welp, sand it down and re-coat with Raptor. I mean, like, the entire truck...

I mean, that's the solution I've come up with for me...

I tried chipping the bubbles off and sanding down to get rid of the edges (so I'd get to where it wasn't peeling anymore), then sprayed clear coat on it. I honestly don't think it did all that much. I also didn't do THAT great of a job, and ended up sanding thru the paint in a few places too, so that's what inspired the "F it all and just Raptor line it" thing.

Take it to a paint shop if you want to have any hope of it turning out looking nice. You can kinda see how well it turned out for me in this pic... (by the bed rail)

I just did my entire truck because the clear failed. Sanded it down and redid everything. Primer, color and clear. Took 4 days. upload_2022-2-9_22-12-38.jpg

Once your clear starts going, it’s only a matter of time before the rest of it goes. The clear failed on my roof and hood and I had to redo them. I sanded it down to factory primer/metal, fixed low spots with Bondo, then I did High Build Primer, Base Coat, and Clear Coat. Blending the roof into the c-pillars was really difficult since there’s no hard body lines.
