Anyone with firsthand experience with both have any input on them? Pros/cons to the synthetic? Looks? Durability? I ask because the synthetic are considerably cheaper.

Isn't the most popular option the leather inserts with the pvc outsides?

Unless you religiously study the difference between the two for a living and consider yourself a cow aficionado, you're not going to tell the difference unless you WANT to find the differences. You've probably been in some cars with "leather" seats when they are really synthetic or vinyl and never noticed; most cars with leather seats aren't true leather. Save yourself some $$$ and just get the synthetic.

I have the "leather" covers, and as far as I can tell on mine. Only the center panels are actually leather. The rest of the sides and back are faux. I absolutely love mine, and think if the center sections were faux, I would love them just a much. The fit and style is just so great.

Honestly just depends on your budget, but I went with the leather inserts as they’re the most common. Either way you go, you’ll love them.

When I ordered mine, clazzio said the leather inserts will last longer. I was upsold to get the leather instead of full synthetic. After three years, the are small rips in the prefforated leather inserts. However, the synthetic part looks fine. If I were to do it again, I would save some money and get fully synthetic all around.

Sure, fuck nature and the planet. Right?
I think this is a wrong understanding how far false leather technology has come.
Modern faux leather has properties and features that even real leather doesn't have, at the same time being more environmental friendly. The chemicals, and dyes used in the curing and preparing of real leather does a lot of pollution.
A lot of high end hypercar and luxury vehicle manufacturers and personal goods makers are moving away real leather more and more into faux leathers.
I think you should read some more about newer faux leather technology and their material properties and qualities.
In the past they were'nt that good, but more and more universities and research funding have improved it and evolved them far beyond benefits of real leather nowadays.
Time has come to ditch old views and be more open minded.

The Clazzio guy on here said not to buy the PVC so i went with the leather. Been very happy with mine and after 3 years they still look great even with our hot as hell Texas summers.

"Sure, you CAN get real leather, that is of course if you're a total piece of shit."

I never called anyone a piece of shit for having leather seats. YOU did that. You don't have to be nasty.
What I was trying to illustrate is that there is a lot of ignorance about how far faux leather technology has come through and how it can benefit the common good of all and save our planet.
Just like how new Lithium ion battery technology advancement is making way for newer no emission trucks and making our trucks things of the past.
I am not being self righteous, but trying to give some wisdom and information --which clearly you felt rubbed the wrong way and are missing, along with some self control. This could be a learning moment for you if you could find some humility.
I think you should read some about how much faux leather has improved in touch, feel, texture, and quality and improvements if you want to know. Continuing to be ignorant is also your option. Anyways, goodluck!

budget only allowed me to roll with the PVC, they are nice! no complaints yet. i have also only had them on for about a month. if we are being honest the leather wasnt even a thought in my mind due to the price. my money gets dumped into outdoor gear, I could barely justify some nice PVC cover haha. but im stoked with them and have them all geared up to wire in some heated seats as well!

Nothing screams environmentally friendly like making things out of oil. I always thought fracking oil or floating it across the ocean does a lot of pollution as well, or is this a case where we can get behind that now?

My buddy has a Tesla Model 3 and it's the nicest leather I've felt in a car. It's fake/synthetic leather.

If you can save money and not needlessly use animal skin, then why not do it? For the price of real leather, you can likely get some really high end synthetic leather that is better is most ways anyways.

2 things. You are talking about saving the cows yet you have the word bacon in your name. So cows are off limits but pigs we can massacre?

2nd. Electric powered cars aren't saving the planet. Do you know how many very large batteries need to be / will need to be disposed of? The huge batteries are not biodegradable. Imagine all of the old useless batteries we will be shipping to countries like India. JMO.
