    I recently watched a some of Cosmo Weems' videos where he had this Clam tent over the back of his teardrop and it got me thinking if it would work as a tailgate "shelter" for cooking, etc. I have a camper shell and mostly live out of the back of the truck when camping and there are times when the sun and/or bugs are a bit too much and one of these popups seems like a quick and easy solution. I also watched a number of reviews where most people seem pretty impressed with it.

    Just curious if anyone has slung one around the back of the truck. I'm looking at the smaller one.

    We have the gazelle version 8x8 and have found many uses for it including the tailgate setup...recently added a RTT and have fingered out how to integrate them with the awning.....
