What’s the best way to hook up some seasonal (Christmas/holiday) to one’s Tacoma? Where would you wire them or plug them into?

I hung mine from the cross bars in my soft topper, then I just plugged it into the 120v inverter plug in the bed. I can turn them on and off with the push of a button.

Why, why dear god would you want to be "that guy"? Not to mention it is probably illegal to drive with them on.

I put them on my truck because the kids got a kick out of it. I dont drive on main roads with them, just in my neighborhood.

You'll always be "That guy" to someone. I prefer to not let miserable people drag me down.

We can be whatever guy we want to be. I don't have Christmas lights on my truck but I think it's cool when guys do it.

...so, I figured a way to get these lights going with a tonneau cover on. Zip-ties to the bed-rails and to the tonneau cover clips for the win.

Figure, if one person a day gets a kick out of it, it’s worth it.

I used those 3M hangers. Used for rope light. Cleaned the bed rail and plugged into the outlet. I can get pics if you want later. It’s fun and gets good attention! It’s only for a month

I have put them on my truck 2 years in a row on I90 driving back and forth to work. Drove by WA state patrol everyday. Nothing from WSP. But I have had people roll their window down and compliment them. Simple thing that kids love. Just having fun.
