Has anyone found any luck with no drill device mounts? I saw one you can put in your vent but I dunno...

I really like the center console modular storage panel with the bridge that connects over the center where you can mount devices but I'm not a fan of drilling holes... I almost had a stroke drilling a few holes for toggle switches on a pannel that could easily be replaced. That price tag of over $200 is a little high too... I was thinking of some strong velcro or double sided tape because there shouldn't be alot of weight pushing down on it thinking that both sides being connected should theoretically squeeze more than push it down... not sure I want to risk it... I also seen one from caliraised the dash device mount which also has to be drilled but I think some tape or velco might suffice.

Any more affordable alternatives or suggestions would be great.

Not sure of what you want to mount.
I just bought a phone holder from Amazon that uses a suction cup.
    Seems good so far.

Yea, I don't like it just laying there and there's alot of stuff you can't do on android auto because of the safeties they have. I'm sure the same can be said of apple.

Never was a fan of suction cuping things to my windshield. I also think you could move different mouts farther out of the way than you could something that was attached to the windshield.

I have a stick on mount just above the right hand drivers dash vent. Scoche? It has a magnetic base and a metal stick on piece that you stick to your phone. It has worked really well. The phone (Samsung S22) is held there quite solidly.

It has different ways to mount.
Can be mounted with suction cup to windshield yes.
Also can mount to dash or any flat surface with suction cup.
Also has a metal plate with adhesive you can place anywhere then attach the suction cup to that.

I'm running three mounts: Two Hondo Garage vent mounts with Ram 1" balls, one for phone and one for iPad; and one WeatherTec CupPhone holder for tunes. Been down lots of washboard over the last 3 weeks with no issues.

Got the offroam phone mount last week.
I don't go off road but I was tired of the phone wobble with my other mounts and taking my eyes off the road while I am driving.
I am very impressed with this thing. It puts the phone close to eye level, it is rock solid, and it is easy to install. The only down side is the price at $79.95. I guess you get what you pay for. This is the 3rd phone mount that I have purchased and hopefully the last one.
