    Hello,

I looking at a 2021 Tacoma TRD Off Road double cab. But I have a 4 and 2 year old who ride rear facing in chicco Nextfit zip. They are small so will be in them awhile and eventually forward facing in them. The chicco is huge lol will 2 fit in a Tacoma Double cab without having to move seat all the way up? Anyone have a Tacoma and use the Chicco Nextfit?

Best bet is to take the car seat to the dealership and try it out yourself. Put them in and test drive for a bit to make sure the seats will position where you are comfortable at.

Yeah i figured that’s the best way but the dealer is an hour away so was hoping to hear others experiences to see if the trip was even worth taking.

I have a Chicco Nextfit for my youngest, though forward facing. He's behind the driver's side and my oldest is in a booster on the passenger side. There is plenty of room for me to move the seat up and back. I'm 5' 11" for reference.

I have a 2020 ORDC and 2 grandkids now 6 and 2.5 and both sit forward now, in their car seats. We have to move the front seats a bit forward due to their legs, giving them leg room and/or tilt the back of the seat more upright. It is a snug fit with 4 peeps in the car but doable. Our driving is local and I generally babysit once a week, so not too bad. Wouldn't want to go on any significantly long trips with this set up. I'm 6"1". For any long trips, we switch to wife's vehicle, for more back seat room.

Everything is tight with rear facing, if you can survive that period of time, forward facing is much better. Once the kids are over 5, it’s not too bad. Only gets better the older they get.
