So my tacoma is only two years old, however the frame looks like it’s much older due to mud and grime of off-roading. I love the look of a brand new factory frame being so clean and jet black. I talked to several detailers but I couldn’t find anyone who offered a package to clean the frame and wheel wells.

I watched some videos online of the chemical guys stuff and thought I’d give it a try. I started with their clear cleaning degreaser and a Brush. Loosened up the dirt and debris and wiped it down. Let it dry for a few minutes then I hit it with some bare bones degreaser. You can use it on the frame, plastic fender wells, anything. Honestly i didn’t think it would work this well. They definitely have a customer for life.

That's funny, I was wanting to make a thread this morning asking what folks recommended to get that new look back to those areas. Looks good!

No problems with it getting on boots, bushings, or joints, and having any side effects that you know of?

Looks great nice work, give Chemical Guys Black on Black a try if you get a chance it works great on engine bays and wheel wells, it’s in a black aerosol can. I always use it after detailing my vehicles engine bays, it leaves them looking new and not all greasy. I used to order it online now that Wally World has it, I just get it there.

It also works really well on the factory predator tube steps. It lasts a decent amount of time as well.

Looks great, I have been using as well and I spray it through a spray guy. I have used Bare Boner since it came out as I made the switch from another under carriage spray that was good but they stopped selling it. Bare bones is not a degreaser. I use a foam cannon and spray a nice degreaser through it, dry the under carriage and then spray the BB all under the underside then wipe off or buff the runs down some. Still looks new but I have never driven my truck in the rain as I use my 99 4Runner for a daily driver.

it was easier to deal with by removing the bumper first.
I believe it was only the 6 bolts and tail lights.
Me and my 16 year old son were able to lift it and move it to saw horses.
