I have a 98 Tacoma and the check engine light is on. The only thing that it is on for is the vehicle speed sensor in the tranny. I put a new one in and the check engine light is still on. Parts of my cluster are also not working. I was wondering if it I did something wrong with the sensor or the cluster could make the check engine light go on. Anyone know the answer?

Is it p0500 I'm assuming? If so, it can be a very tricky code.

Yes. The only code that comes up. It’s been on for about a month.
