I replaced the fuel hose that connects the fuel pump to the main fuel line, after which I am unable to get the truck started -- it keeps cutting out and will not idle properly, plus the check engine light is blinking. It was running fine before I replaced the hose, except it was leaking fuel. It is a 2004 Tacoma Prerunner v6 extra cab with nary a mod on it. Anybody got any tips about the possible cause/resolution?

could be just air in the fuel line, keep trying, maybe rev it a bit to keep her running,
you could try cycling the key several times before starting it
