Wish my GPA was as high as the gas prices.
Originally I had a solid light and code for the downstream o2 sensor, which I planned to replace. Now when I accelerate moderately hard, the check engine light flashes for a moment then stops, not to mention it feels hesitant when accelerating. Spark plugs? Injectors? Need some guidance here.

A flashing check engine light when accelerating is very bad. It signals likely damage to catalytic converters due to severe misfires. Pull the codes, and go from there. Don't guess, or throw parts at it. Practice diagnosing the actual cause.

This seemed like the first time today this has happened, especially when accelerating, I can only hope I'm not too late to the party.

Every vehicle I drive Has a simple Code reader .

Because I really want to know what is going on now rather then next weekend when I can get someplace to pull the codes .

Only to be told sorry we can`t connect to your vehicle you need a new ECM
